The vision of the “Lighting Up Dreams” fund

For the past 18 years, VIDAN Co., Ltd. has established a scholarship fund named “Lighting Up Dreams” to support studious students, especially in areas affected by natural disasters. In November 2025, the program awarded 43 scholarships to students at Nguyen Thai Binh High School (Thang An commune) and 100 scholarships to students at Da Nang University.

43 scholarships in Thang An commune, Quang Nam

    • Awarding 30 scholarships worth 1 million VND/scholarship to students with excellent achievements, winning prizes in the provincial excellent student exam and gold medals in the Quang Nam Newspaper Cross-Country Race 2024.

    • Awarding 13 scholarships to students whose homes were damaged in the recent floods

    • Total funding: 50 million VND

Mr. Le Anh – Deputy Director of VIDAN Co., Ltd. – shared that the fund has been maintained for 18 years to encourage the spirit of learning. The company commits to supporting at least 50 million VND each year for the school to consider awarding scholarships, to motivate students in the eastern Thang Binh area (now Thang An and Thang Truong) to strive for success.

100 scholarships for students of Da Nang University in flood-affected areas

  • Time: Afternoon of November 11, 2025

  • Location: Da Nang University

  • Target: 100 students from member schools, families heavily affected by the floods in October 2025. Da Nang University reported that over 800 students were affected, but the fund prioritizes the most difficult cases

  • Value: Each scholarship is worth 2 million VND, total funding 200 million VND

Associate Professor Dr. Le Thanh Bac – Deputy Director of Da Nang University – emphasized: this

is not only financial support but also a source of spiritual encouragement, affirming that the school, businesses, and the community always accompany students. Mr. Le Anh hopes that when successful, the students will return to help the next generation, continuing to spread the spirit of “the healthy leaves cover the torn leaves”

The story of a scholarship recipient

Ngo Thi Cam Thach (student at the University of Economics – Da Nang University) is one of the 100 students receiving scholarships. Her house in Dien Ban (Quang Nam) was swept away by floods; her father has passed away, and she and her sister live with their mother. Cam Thach plans to use the entire scholarship to buy back supplies and means of livelihood for her mother, while also sharing that she maintains a GPA of 3.86/4
